Panentheism

Panentheism is the view that all is in God and God is in all, yet God, Man and the World are differentiated from each other. In panentheism God does not create “out of nothing.” Neither does God emanate the world as an extention of the God-Self. Rather, God creates the universe out of the “chaos” that preceeds creation. God is finite and limited rather than infinite and all-powerful, exercising not the aggressive force of coersion but the power of attraction, the lure of novelty and creative love.
