Panpsychism

Wikipedia: Panpsychism

Ultimate reality consists of “matter stuff” and “mind” stuff that are differentiated yet inseparable rather than dualistic or with either mind or matter as a secondary derivation of the other.

Some panpsychists say all things have at least a fractional degree of sentience and consciousness. Other panpsychists say only organic things possess these faculties. Still other panpsychists limit sentience and consciousness to those things that possess a central nervous system and a brain. Some panpsychists lean toward idealism while others lean toward naturalism but not materialism.
